Personality: Harriet is, to put it simply, a completely terrible person. To most people at Ansembourg, this accusation would sound ridiculous; she takes her image as a sweet, innocent, all-accepting model student very seriously. She likes to control people. It's unclear why; it's just what she has always done, and so it's what she continued to do when she arrived at Ansembourg when she was fifteen. Only Dmitri has any inkling of her true nature, and even he has no idea just how deep the damage really goes.
History: Harriet comes from an affluent family; her parents, both busy with their careers, never had much time for their only child. She was raised by nannies who came and went, never staying for longer than two years, and they spoiled her rotten. Precisely when her powers first emerged is unclear; for as long as she can remember, she got what she wanted when she wanted it without any fuss. Her playmates obeyed her, her nannies indulged her, and her tutors absolutely loved her. In time, she began to grow bored with this routine, and started to actively try and control her powers of persuasion. It started small - taking things from her friends, making them shoplift for her, squeezing less homework out of her teachers - and it slowly grew worse. After one incident that went too far, her parents were finally forced to take notice of their daughter; albeit not in the way she'd been hoping for. She was passed along to Ansembourg so her parents could sort out the mess she'd made back at home.
