Username: Rythos
Character Name: Joseph Evans
Front Color: Medium Purple
Age: 16
Grade: 10th
Year: 4th
Gender: Male (sex - female)
Abilities: Earth manipulation - rocks, dirt, mud, you name it. He could probably bounce around lava, if he tried.
Appearance: Joey's hair is short and ash brown, just long enough for the bangs to flop around in his eyes. His skin is a light tan sort of color, coming from his father's side, and he has eyes that are a dark, ruddy brown. He's started to get some ambering in them recently, but he doesn't mind. He has fairly feminine features, much to his chagrin, and is having to try harder to pass as he gets older. His main choice of wardrobe is a loose, brown camo hoodie over just about anything else, and some cargo pants, usually brown or dusty green. (He likes pockets, they are very useful things.) About the only speck of bright color on him are his slightly worn shoes, which are still, for the moment, bright red.
Personality: Joey is a quiet person, who seems a little bit standoffish at first. This, however, could not be farther from the truth. Though he lacks the confidence to be a social butterfly, if he could he would. He likes the company of others, and doesn't like being alone in the slightest. (He kind of wishes he could find a roommate who'd understand - it's a little depressing knowing almost everyone else has one.) He's the type of person looking for a friend, but having a hard time finding it. He does average in school, and he's a bit of a daydreamer, but you can snap him out of it pretty easy. He can be a little bit childish sometimes, when the stress gets to him, but he also has the capability to be calm and mature when the need arises.
History: Joey is actually fairly good at keeping his manipulation in check, minus one or two incidents… control isn't why he came to Ansem. His family was tolerant enough of his "quirks" as he grew up, though he didn't think they ever really got it, and he was pretty sure they always thought he'd grow out of it. When he started manifesting his abilities as well, however, things just got… weird? He's still not sure how to feel about it, but something just went wrong in general. The house became a stale, uncomfortable place to be, and Joey was just plain getting sick of it. He's still not sure how his parents came to know about Ansembourg, but he decided that nothing could be much worse than the atmosphere around there. His parents sent him off with a smile and a good wish, but he barely hears from them anymore. He doesn't really know what to think.
Other Details: Joseph was close friends with an older student for his first three years, but she graduated and is no longer at Ansem. Joey finds himself a little bit lost, and a lot bit alone, without her.
Also, he's Australian, and he's got that accent. Just thought you should know.
